This is not a traditional salon job. eSalon offers the best of both worlds; a creative outlet to help clients achieve their hair color goals and the stability of a full-time / 40 hour per week schedule with benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401K.

You'll be using your coloring knowledge and excellent customer service skills on a daily basis to assess client's individual color cases online. In our corporate headquarters, Colorists create custom formulations on a computer and provide customer service via phone, email, and video conference.

Responsibilities

80% of your time will be providing hair color consultations and customer service via phone or email
20% of your time will be overseeing and creating haircolor formulations, via the computer, based on client's hair profile and comments
Match client's desired hair color and expectations to encourage repeat orders and/or rebooking
Proactively build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure best customer outcome
Demonstrate critical thinking by fully analyzing clients’ objectives and concerns and providing appropriate solutions
Be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
Show openness to new ideas; listen to others and objectively consider other ideas and opinions
Analyze information and facts to make informed decisions
Collaborate with other departments and seeks further advice and guidance when required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bilingual, Spanish speaker with a native proficiency in oral and written communication
1+ years of professional hair coloring experience, producing quality results
In depth understanding of color formulation
Aptitude for selling and cross-selling
Excellent verbal and writing skills with impeccable grammar in English and Spanish
Highly motivated & energetic
Flexible, able to work in fast paced, high growth environment
Ability to think critically
Available to work weekends
Ability to uphold eSalon values and be a strong ambassador for the eSalon brand
Current California Cosmetology license
