The Creative Project Manager will be the glue that helps keep our projects — and people — together. As the leading force for turning business objectives into creative deliverables, you will be responsible for organizing, managing and executing Creative projects from beginning to end in a fast paced, creative start-up environment. A keen eye for detail is a must, as well as a sharp creative mind. Tasks will include both daily planning and tactical execution in partnership with Creative and our various cross-functional teams, while managing a scope of work including multifaceted print to multichannel digital initiatives. An enterprising attitude with a demanding level of communication and collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

Collects and utilizes objective and subjective input to inform project priority, timelines and resources.
Processes project briefs, creates milestone time and action plans, calendars projects and liaises closely with stakeholders to execute in support of the Creative team to ensure all projects, resources and schedules run smoothly and efficiently.
Partners with cross-functional teams to lock creative briefs, ensuring brief is accurate and complete prior to processing in Creative or to external vendors.
Identifies potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources and timelines, and reports these potential issues to key stakeholders.
Works with the Creative Director to identify appropriate scope and dependencies for daily volume of projects, including resource allocation.
Monitors daily job progress, while keeping all status sheets and calendar invites up to date.
Requests, reviews and approves print production estimates according to budgetary restrictions, and coordinates logistics related to print production.
Ensures design, copy and routing dates are met, and that final deliverables reflect the content as approved by all stakeholders. Manages revisions and creative changes as needed, including updates to schedules.
Responds to emails in a timely manner to manage projects according to agreed upon schedule and budget.
Supports the Creative Director on scheduling and budgeting photo and video shoot productions.
Continually challenges the structures, tools and processes to ensure the team is looking for new ways to work smarter and more efficiently.

Qualifications

4-6 years managing creative projects at a small agency or in-house department, with an emphasis on both print and digital.
Experience in a fast paced, creative, start-up environment that iterates quickly and is biased for action is a plus.
Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; personable and flexible with demands and changes in business.
Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal). Able to multi-task.
Strategic thinker willing to push the envelope and bring fresh, innovative ideas to life in order to problem solve.
Experience creating/editing/proofing creative briefs.
Knowledge of creative project management processes, workflow and terminology.
Eagerness to dive into details, find creative solutions and take responsibility for projects.
Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, Basecamp, Dropbox, Slack, Toggl, JIRA or other project management and time tracking applications.
