It's keeping the brassiness away. I have found that after coloring my hair, it slowly starts to get brassy. I have been using the Tint Rinse and it has helped. So I'll keep using it and watch the color, I'm about halfway between colorings now. So, fingers crossed!
The rinse is one of my favorite esalon products. It lathers up so well and really keeps my color from fading. Definitely get this to match your color. You only need a dime size amount and it really works great.
I use this on my ends. Hair is dark blond mahogany red. After several weeks this adds nice color to get me through a little longer It’s gentle on hair and quite effective.
Glad I purchased. I was charged extra for this everytime I got my hair colored at the salon cause I loved the shine. Now I can have the shine anytime I want it and not just after a couple of days.
I’ve only used this once but can see a slight toning down of the dreaded brassiness that pops up (I am outside in the sun quite a bit). After the first use I received a lot of compliments on my hair - it was soft and had body. I did not experience any of the dryness that others have mentioned, although I did slather my hair with conditioner afterwards. I intend to use this about two weeks out from refreshing my color, as that is when I find the red tones become more apparent. It’s a good home solution.
I look forward to the days when I use this tint rinse. It makes my hear feel and look super healthy and adds just a bit of extra brightness, without adding brassiness.

I put in on in the shower first, then by the time I’m done showering, rinse it out.
I keep it in the shower and I use it as needed.

I was skeptical about this actually working when I first tried it in the shower but it totally does! Not only does it smell AMAZING, but also makes your hair feel and look a lot healthier, shinier, and gives your colour amazing depth and tone. I'm using this on my own hair which is dyed off black and you can definitely see the gold undertones when I use this! Great for giving dimension to darker colours.
I used the gold tint rinse because I am trying to get my hair to look vibrant but also back to my normal color. This turned my hair a little bit orangish gold but I love it ! It makes it sparkle and shine and on my normal roots ( dirty blonde hair ) growing out it make the most unique awesome gold color. I can’t wait for all of my hair to be natural so I can use this as a beautiful gold boost. On bleached hair it will make it more orange gold.

The Tint Rinse in Red Neutralizer has TRANSFORMED my hair. The ends of my medium-brunette hair tend to turn orange with too much sun and chlorine from the pool. After letting this soak in my ends for five minutes in the shower, my hair is a beautiful ashy brown color. (I condition afterwards.) My frazzled ends are smooth and shiny again! I use only a small amount once or twice a week, and I've noticed it even lasts pretty well through one wash! The pigment is so rich compared to other color rinses I have tried, I will be stocking up on this...
If I am honest I am not sure exactly how this product works but after use I feel my hair is shinier and looks healthy, so I give it a thumbs up and will definitely continue to use.
I really didnt need to try this product when I did because I just colored two weeks before, but I so very much wanted to see what it was all about. This is a great product that enchanced the brightness and shine of my hair, and enriched the color. This was easy to apply, and rinsed out great! I will definitely be using this when my color starts to fade, and its too early to re color.
I use this twice a week to give my color a boost. I didn’t realize what a difference it made until I ran out. When I started it again I was again thrilled. Love this stuff.

I’ve used the esalon custom color the past 17 colorings and use this color enhancing treatment intermittently or less than once a month. It gives your hair a quick boost that’s noticeable, not too much but just enough to look and feel refreshed. I rinse after 5 minutes or so, follow it with a heavy conditioner, and then finish it with a light leave-in conditioner.
I actually just bought this with my last color set and haven’t tried it yet. I am easily willing to say though, that because all the other products i’ve tried have been 5-star quality, this will be the same. I give it 5 stars without even trying it. I’m sure it will be superb!
I was a little skeptical; but I really wanted to try it. When I put it on it lathered up land my hair felt really soft after I rinsed it out( a lot of the time my hair can be a little dry and can’t wait to be conditioned) I followed instructions and conditioned after and am so pleased with the results. My hair has a sunkissed tone to it, it’s shiny and soft. Very happy with the results!
I have colored my hair for 30 years. I did not think this would make a difference but bought it as a special offer. Oh my goodness- this adds so much shine to my dark hair. I actually have people coming up to me to tell me that my hair looks so healthy! Skeptical no more!
I love this stuff. It adds a touch of freshness to my hair to keep it looking great in between colorings. Can't recommend it enough. The copper is just fabulous and just the booster I need.
