This product comes out very runny and is kind of messy, but I've mastered not getting it all over the place in my shower, and it lathers up nicely. It doess just what I want - sort of an in between color 'tune-up'.
Hence the only 4 stars out of 5. Once opened with the safety seal removed, you cannot store this cap-side down as intended. It's thin, and it leaks out, filling up the cap first and then oozing out and causing a mess. And, as another reviewer said, it stains everything it comes into contact with. So you've got to try and store it cap-side up, propping it up against something else to try and make it stand, which can be quite the dilemma. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem or not, but it sure would be nice if they would package this in a real bottle instead of the upside down tube.
I love this refresher. It keeps my hair looking awesome between colorings. The only thing I wish was different: the consistency. This comes out of the bottle super liquidy, and I wish it was more of a soap so I didn't get it everywhere in the shower and waste a lot.
Be careful in shower may stain white shower. This product definitely works just a little runny so use caution unless you want to clean your shower every use. Also keep where your kids can't play with it!
I have used this in between colorings and can tell a big difference so it's worth the mess.

Excellent product. It is not as good with eliminating red brassiness. But since my color change resulted in the brassy red I believe it was that colors content which made the BLONDE NEUTRALIZER not as effective.
I use this when my roots are starting to show and it definitely helps to boost the color so that I can go longer until I color again. It can over tinge the ends a bit but after a day it fades enough on the ends to be ok.
My natural hair color ( if I remember correctly ) is medium to dark brown. Now, it would be gray and brown. I began using eSalon some time ago and used a toner, Tinted Love, to maintain my color from fading between coloring. It worked well. For a long time they were out of the shade I was using and pleased with, so I finally sent a quick email asking if the item was discontinued or would it be available later.... In no time I received a response from eSalon saying they had reviewed my color and request, and would send me the "Red Neutralizer" shade of TInted Love at no charge to try instead. I was reluctant to try the new shade but have to say that I am VERY PLEASED with the outcome. It works perfectly with my color and even looks better out in the direct sunlight. Easy to use and definitely helps brighten up my color after application and in between colors. Smells nice too. The formula is super thin and messy getting out of the tube and into my hair though
I bought this out of desperation. I have undyed, dark brown, "virgin" hair. Actually also got chocolate and black. I did this because I'm in my 30's and for the last 5 years, and drastically in the last 2, I have been getting gray hair. My guess is I'm at 10-15% gray, truly, (but to me feels like 50%). I'm getting so many comments from family and my patients, coworkers about it. It's making feel down but I'm not ready to commit to dying my hair every 4-6 weeks. To top it off my hair grows so fast 4 weeks may be time enough for the dreaded roots. So I tried the lightest color first. Decided to do my own thing and ignore directions. Applied it similar to at home hair dye just in a very quick "cover this now" fashion and not soaking the entire hair root to tip. Mainly where my hair parts and the ends. Left it in for 3-4 minutes then rinsed. I was shocked that the grays I really got it on were covered! They turned a very dark blonde tone. I have dark brown hair and I'll take any color over gray, looked like highlights. Because I applied quickly and honestly sloppily I still had some gray but it was significantly reduced. It's been 6 days and it's fading but I'm going to do it again tomorrow! I'm very excited to see what reapplying maybe weekly will do for me. Very hopeful especially after reading over and over that tinted shampoos do not work for gray cover up. I'll write more should it continue to help. Planning on doing before and after photos this time too! Thanks for some hope esalon!
Red is the hardest color to keep from fading- so this product maintains the rich red you need between colorings. It may stain your fingers/shower when applied but cleans up!
I like this ... I think. It seems to help a little to keep the depth of my color, but it doesn't help the roots ... at least not much. I would like to have something that would keep my roots from showing so much. I have used the Loreal spray and a few others, but the color of those are so flat. The markers are too messy ... and talk about stains on the forehead ... yikes! So I had very high hopes for this, but its just nice. I don't know that I will repurchase. I got the sort of mascara looking one, but I haven't used it yet. I will let you know when I do.
I have naturally black hair, that is bleached to dark brown (on top of that - I have used mini color to give it a colder tone). I used the Red Neutralizer for a couple of hours instead of 4-5minutes (as recommended on the tube), to get more effect.
Worst is the inevitable fading that happens with red. Though the Heart Lock It shampoo and Love conditioner do live up to name and purpose, come month 6, I am a little less vibrant. This is where Tinted Love comes in, aiding my tired strands and shaking them up with a shot of color! It helps prolong your current color until your next shipment of new designed for you color comes in the mail.
I had my hair lightened awhile ago and even though it wasn't really too blonde, from the description I thought the soft blonde neutralizer would have been best to get rid of the yellowy brass. There was no difference after using it several times though, which was disappointing! I've since had my hair lightened again and this still doesn't work. :/ I'd be interested in trying the red neutralizer, but I'm not ready to pay for something that miiight not work, as getting my hair dyed is pricey enough.
The positives: I like the smell! And I liked how it lathered! It cleans my hair nicely and I don't feel the need to follow up with a shampoo. It's easy to use, despite it being a really runny/kind of messy product. Lastly, maybe it's my imagination but I think it makes my hair smooth!
This is a cool concept and it's great that it seems to be working for so many people! Not sure if I'll repurchase but I'll keep this brand on my radar.
This worked very well. The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is because when using it in my white shower, I then had to spend an extra few minutes making sure it had rinsed off all the surfaces so they weren't tinted red.
My first custom color was beautiful, I unfortunately thought it was not light enough - big mistake! I received compliments plenty, but, that wasn't good enough - I made a big mistake!
So I have natural straight black Asian hair. I died my hair several times with Japanese/Korean box dyes so my hair over time turned into a weird orangey colour. I tried purple shampoo but it didn't work. I decided to purchase tinted love and I'm happy with this product. It darkens my hair and now my hair looks more brown than orange. The only thing I don't like about this product is the bottle. A lot of the shampoo can spill out if you're not careful.
Tried a few tints/colored conditioners in the past, not the best, but IS when also considering price. Like most tinting conditioners with a red color, it will stain your hands, nails and scalp. Wear gloves and apply some petroleum jelly around ears and hairline. This will stain more than when applying an actual dye. What I did like was it had various shades of red in tube, so it added some dimension to hair. Overall pretty good but messy.

My hair color is a light brown to dark blonde color so i got the recommended shampoo based on that description. I think I should've gone with the one for a more blonder hair though. I feel like the soft red neutralizer didn't do much to tone down the brassiness. It may have just ever so slightly but not as much as it was raved about doing. I can't give it a fair review however because I feel like it's potentially a good product, probably just needed a different shade neutralizer.
After going to a new salon for a highlight, I found my hair stripped of color by over-processing. I was in need of a quick fix and the Golden tint did the trick.
I tried red neutralizer and it worked partially, in that it turned part of my hair ash brown and the other parts remained a copper red color. So I ordered chocolate brown and dark brown instead. I mixed the 2 and FINALLY my the copper red was gone! I love both the chocolate brown and dark brown color

Since purchase, only tried one time. Works super and due for another application. Problem, I probably didn't rinse well enough....si I need to buy black towels...lol
I have used quite a few color enhancing treatments from other brands and was not impressed with this when I first used it. However, after colouring my hair, this product really came into its own. My dyed hair has never looked so dark and fresh. My only complaint is that it is a bit drying on my hair and I need to add a lot of moisture to it. Other than that I have no complaints and can see this being something I regularly use.
This little tube of Tinted Love keeps my color looking new and fresh until I'm ready to color again. I use golden and it gives my hair subtle golden highlights. It conditions too.
At almost 60yrs old, I have decided to grow out my natural color. I'm not chasing the gray line but when complete, will have a beautiful medium ash brown with gray sprinklings. However, my color treated hair was brassy and looked awful. I tried some of the home remedies, but none worked. While searching, I came upon a video on YouTube that demonstrated this product.
I am loving the results, no more brassiness, instead, it blended the colors and looks very natural and healthy.
The downside to this product: it's not easy to work with, it is very runny. To remedy this, I mixed 1 part product with 2 parts thick conditioner. Does the trick.
I have been on the search for something like a color depositing shampoo and found Tinted Love treatment, and decided to give it a try. My goal is to color the gray in between salon visits and from reading the other reviews I thought the warm beige might be a good start. It does color about half to three fourths of the gray and so it is better than not using anything in between, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I am thinking about trying the light brown to see if I would like it better since my hair color is brown highlighted to dark blond. Another thing is some people say that they use it twice a week, but I have to use it every time I shampoo or most of it washes out.

This product is very easy to use. After using it, I thought my hair looked like some red was toned down. After a day or two, the red seemed to be back at the roots and the ends are very dark. I liked the lathering action while using it, but found my hair seemed to need some extra conditioning after use.
I love having copper colored hair. But it's the HARDEST color to retain. After two weeks I'd look a faded dull strawberry blonde. NOT SO NOW! After two weeks I start using your Tinted Love Color Enhancing Treatment Golden Copper and I'm back to a true Copper Head! Girls at work ask have I colored my hair and the salons comment on how well my hair held the color! Thanks much.
I like this product and will be ordering it again. I tried it because I plugged the ingredients list into the EWG Skin Deep data base, and it's toxicity score, while not great, was better than many other products of its kind. I will be trying the deeper copper next time, and mixing it with the golden copper that I'm reviewing here, since the results with the golden copper alone were not coppery enough for my particular hair shade. The shade in the tube is exactly the color I want my hair to be, but unfortunately it comes out WAY more subtle on the hair, even when applied to dry hair instead of wet, which is how my stylist recommended that I use it, as a way to make it more noticeable. I think the golden copper would be perfect for warm blonds though, who want to add a subtle coppery boost. I deducted a star only because I wish the product had more "oomph" and wasn't so subtle. The subtlety requires that it be used a few times a week to see any noticeable results, which gets expensive. I love that it has only a very slight pleasant aroma, no perfume or chemical smell, rinses clean, doesn't stain scalp, and leaves hair lightly conditioned.
Love the Purple color treatment, great for inbetween coloring.

I love the purple color enhancing treatment. The only thing on the container I don't find that it tells how much to use each time of use. And if you can keep using this even if you do not color within the time of an extended non coloring time.
I use this in between my color and I love how it revitalizes my color. It just gives it a little vibrance before my next color. Just to reboot it a little.
To be fair, I have resistant gray hair and this doesn't work as well as I had hoped for touch-ups. But...I use a little to tint my brows! And I'm really happy with those results.
I see some help when I use the Blond Neutralizer but if the base color was less gold I think it would go much further in correcting any brassiness left and enhancing color.
Now this is a great product, however it didn't really keep my purple long enough and my hair turned a bit more red. (Used it every time I washed my hair, about twice a week... perhaps leave it in a minute or two longer than it recommends?)
It smells pretty good, though use some gloves when you put it in or it will pinken your hands a bit. ;)
This stuff does enhance your color between orders and works well. My only complaint is it is messy and stains(but if it didn't it wouldn't work as well I suppose)

I love the way this product worked into my normal routine and was easy to use. My only complaint was that it's a little runny so it comes out of the tube unexpectedly fast. Unfortunately some was wasted because I got too much too quickly.
I was hoping this would help hide my roots as they are just starting to grow out better but it does make my hair very shiney like when it is first colored. I use it once or twice a week.
I've used the blonde neutralizer several times (6 or 7 times) to reduce the brassy tones in my hair - but I can't tell if it's working. It may take a lot to be effective.
Like the product for getting rid of unwanted redness. Left hair feeling silky. Be careful though if you get any on a bathtub that has been recoated. I didn't see it right away and it left a light stain.
This is a fantastic, easy to use, color-enhancing gloss that you can apply right in the shower and use as often as you need! It has been great for maintaining vibrant color in my naturally fine, blonde hair, which naturally doesn't hold on to darker colors very well. Also, the reddish tint is really flattering--the longer you leave it on, the more intense it turns out. Just one thing to note: if you have damaged or dry ends, the color will saturate more there than on the rest of your hair, so just a heads-up!
Only gave this 4 stars because my color is CONSTANTLY out of stock. In the salon I work in the hair stylists are always asking me how I get my hair to keep the violet/purple from fading. This is my secret weapon.
