Perfect xThis is my second purchase and I have to say esalon have been fantastic. I contacted them to adjust my colour as the first try did not come out very even due to colour build up. 2nd Time a CharmThe first kit i recieved was okay but needed tweaking. I told my personal colorist and she did my 2nd kit with a few changes. I did my color last night and I am extremely satisified. Color Good, Process EasyI liked the color recommended, and although there were a few steps required to achieve the color, the result was satisfactory. Absolutely TerribleBy far the worst hair colour I have ever used. The smell of what I presume is ammonia was so strong that it made my eyes water and I had to open all the windows in the house, it was a struggle to keep on for the recommended time because of this. I had requested to lighten my hair but instead it came out a few shades darker, the colour is very flat and has an orange tinge to it, there is absolutely no shine whatsoever. I’ve washed my hair 3 times since colouring with a clarifying shampoo to try to fade the awful colour, but my hair still stinks and it’s unbearable. Unfortunately, the results were disappointingThe roots were the same color but it turned out off black. Additionally, the gray coverage started seeping thru after 4 days. My goal was auburn. I am going to pass on future orders 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

could not open the colour bottle!Came in a nicely presented box but that was it. When I went to colour my hair I could not open the colour bottle despite using all sorts of gadgets; it was wedged tight and was unopenable. As I was all set up to colour my hair with my new Salon product that I was looking forward to using, I wasn't about to be defeated so I made a hole in it & got some of it out into a bowl. Having followed the instructions to the letter the end result was disappointing, the colour was far lighter than anticipated & didn't cover the grey round the edges at all.
