Awesome service!During this COVID nightmare, I have not been able to get to my hairstylist. So I was naturally reluctant to do something online. I sent in a picture and chose a color. Well, the colorist at esalon got back to me and they said the color I chose was too light. Well, now I have to trust someone I have never seen nor have they seen me, to choose my color. The color they chose was perfect!!! I mean perfect! I just had to do my roots and you honestly can't see where my color ends and the esalon color begins! I love my hair stylist and have been going to her for years, but I have to say, esalon is amazing. Does not cover grayProduct is very powerful smell ! For $30 I could go to a salon and get pampered with product that covers gray and not burning eyes and nose. Do not want any further product. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Pretty ImpressedI loved the packaging, how neat to see the bottles with my name on them! I would say the ONLY downside was the smell. It was pretty strong, so make sure to have good ventilation. Complete KitI really liked everything about the kit. They give you gloves, shampoo, conditioner, brush, etc. Everything you need to get the job done. I only gave 4 stars because it was advertised as covering the gray. It did a decent job on my sides. I ended up with many silvers dispersed at the top where it was very saturated with color. Wrong colorMy original color was way too brassy and orange. I specifically explained I wanted a medium auburn color and even included pictures. Unfortunately, the formula they first created had a 20% copper portion and this formula was so intense my head looked like a flashing orange traffic light. Once I received the correct color, i was much happier. I have been receiving so many compliments on my hair color and how could my hair look so good during the COVID-19 quarantine? Everyone assumed I had it done at a salon. I will now only purchase through Esalon. My hair is in much better condition after then when using box pharmacy hair colors.
