The Best Color So FarI received my first color box and tried it for the first time I have to admit I was very skeptical at first Especially since I am an ex hairstylist of 24 years and I am used to using only the best quality color you name it i have used it I have to say my ecolor came out totally amazing I have been having a tough time to stop pulling up brassy but I also need to cover grey and ash Blonde alone doesn’t cover Grey I explained that too my estylist and low and behold it’s the best color yet plus my hair felt so silky soft and healthy I am a believer 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Nice natural colorI have always colored my hair at home. I have naturally medium auburn hair with copper highlights and dark roots. I have a few grays showing up and wanted to hide those while adding all over shine. It can be hard to find a natural looking Auburn from a box, but I am so happy with my color! It gave my locks the boost I wanted without looking like I colored my hair myself- no brassy tones. The formula was pretty strong while I applied close to my face... even made my eyes water. But- the smell did not linger once I washed it out, which is not the case with my former box dye. I am happy I found a color so close to my natural color! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Does not last for at least 2 weeksHello! Thank you for letting me try the product again. As observed before, the solution smells good/ not strong and I loved it. My first bottle lasted for 6 days and my gray roots were very obvious in less than a week. This second solution, I used it last Feb. 13th, my hair was fresh and clean and I followed all directions religiously. I tried not to wash my hair 3x a week like I regularly do but I washed every 4 days instead, hoping to save the color. Unfortunately, my scalp was very itchy and not used to washing for longer days gap. This time, the gray came quite obviously after 11 days. I would like to keep this product as it smells great to me and the color Is perfect but it does not last longer for at least half a month. It is hard to keep coloring my hair more often if the product does not last longer. Oh, did I mention that that when I used the product 2x, my scalp was burning for at least 5-8 minutes and slowly faded away. I don’t know if this is a normal effect, but I did not have this sensation using other boxed hair dye. Maybe this product is good but it does not work well for me. It might work well with others though. It might be my type of straight, thin and fine Asian hair that’s the problem. Anyway, thank you so much but I will not subscribe. Didn't get the color I wantedI chose an ashy type of light brown hoping to get what I asked for. I did everything as written on the note but ended up with a color much darker and redder than I wanted, or that was on the picture. Moreover, I didn't have a lot of gray hair to start off, but the color wasn't able to cover them. Wish I loved it moreThe packaging and presentation of everything was very exciting - all materials included and a perk, Gray coverage was minimal, grays are still visible even after extra processing time, also the developer lifted my root color so now I am left with lighter roots and darker ends :( 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not sure what to thinkAt first, the color was great, but after only two washes it faded too much, especially at the roots, it looks like I didn't dye it for a couple of months.
