Better then store bought!I have used store bought hair color and have had the color wash out much more quickly then it states BUT with ESALON the COLOR LASTS and does not wash or turn brassy. It stays dark until my gray comes in. It is a good quality product that does not dry out my dry hair or thin it out. never againdid not do anything but hide my gray hair, my hair was not darker, does not show the purple tint in the sun. The mixture black, red and purple made a dark brown like my hair was already. For the price NOT worth it, very disappointed, I would have never paid 30.00 for a 1 time color, it's only 9.99 at the pharmacy for the same results. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Will not purchase againThe fumes from the coloring mixture were unbelievable. I waited outside until time to rinse to ease my constant eye irritation and coughing. The color did not last. Will not use again even if it was free. I will go back to L'Oreal Excellence. A much better product! Soft and shinyMy new formulation definitely delivered better color. It leaves the hair soft and shiny. No damage. My only concern is how long it will last.
