Just What I Wanted!I just saved $200 salon fee for color correction. The color is fabulous, my hair looks healthy and shiny. Have shampooed four times since color and the color is still shiny and fresh. Lasting longer than any store bought product. Shiny Hair, But Wrong Color!I ordered a Medium Ash Blonde (I have naturally dark blonde hair), followed the application directions to a T, and ended up with a reddish/brassy blonde. My hair was shiny and felt healthy afterwards, so that was nice, but I'll definitely be heading to an actual salon to get this fixed. I'm sad! :( 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Not great coverageThis is the second time I have used this color combination and for some reason it did not cover my gray very well at all. I think maybe the time to leave in was reduced because it was my second application. I only used it to cover my roots and it didn’t work so I am not sure if I will order again. It also made my hair feel very brittle and full of build up for weeks. I did not have that experience the first use. Not satisfiedAlthough the color came out darker than what I expected, I did not mind it overall. However, my issue was mainly the aftermath. Once the dye was set in and ready to rinse off, I washed my hair until the water ran clear then I let it air dry. When my hair was for the most part, dry, there were parts that felt like they still had shampoo? so I rinsed out again, clear water and no shampoo was coming out nor in my hair, I towel dried and then and I did sleep with my damp hair this time. In the morning, my hair looked like I had put oil in it? it had a wet and sleek look and felt greasy. I wore my hair in a bun for the day as it was too late to do anything and went to work. I washed my hair the following morning and the "greasiness" seems to be washing off, not as prominent but still somewhat present. ( I do not tend to wash my hair daily, but will have to in order to get this residue out.) I have never had this experience before with hair dyes. Will not be purchasing this product moving forward. I have had much better results with cheaper products such as with Garnier and Revlon Excellence brands. I will be going back to those. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
