Love the personalizationLove the personalization. I wish it had a little bit more gray coverage. I feel it's good for about a week then grays show up again... But that just could be how fast my hair grows. I've only used this product twice... So I'm still getting use to it... Mixed feelingsI decided to try this product because my hair stylist said she couldn't color over my existing color. It seemed like there were a lot of good reviews on this product. I was happy that I had plenty of product to work with. At first, it seemed that the color took well. It turned out lighter than I expected, which is a good thing, however there it wasn't as red as I had hoped. After styling my hair, I noticed that there were some parts where my hair didn't take and some of the grays didn't appear to be fully covered. I followed the directions exactly and now less than a week later some of my grays are starting to show through, which is rather disappointing. I'm in love!!I have dyed my hair red for years, and I have to say this is the best hair dye I have ever used at home!! The color matched my previous color. (And I used to get my hair done at Ulta) Its way cheaper and the next time I washed my hair there was almost no run off or staining of my towels!! That has never happened before!! Custom Hair ColorI have used V Sasson red for the last 5 years or so.... what I didn't like about it was the color turned orangy pink as it was getting time to recolor. I absolutely Love my Custom Hair Color! My root color is a soft chocolate brown, with my hair strands a shimmering red copper. Perfection!This color had turned out amazing! The instructions were very easy to use and figure out. The color fill was easy and the black turned out great, there is hardly any red tones in the color and I love it! My hair doesn't feel weighed down or dead, it feels silky soft and if not better then it was before I dyed it! Will definitely continue using esalon color in future!
