One thing I wish I’d known before I used this: it makes a lot of suds and you have to get it on your hair evenly. I treat it more like hair color when it comes to application. It certainly does the job of freshening my quick-to-fade Auburn tresses.

Used this product to add back copper pigment to my bleached pastel purple/silver hair prior to coloring back to my natural color. And I can not believe how well it worked in just THREE minutes. I wish I could post pictures. I put it on dry, and after the 3 minutes my dusty lilac locks were indeed copper!! I have another bottle coming with my next hair color shipment. I will try leaving it on longer and see if I can get a brighter punch of color next time!!!

Love this product really makes a difference I noticed as soon as I started drying my hair it left it feeling soft not dry and shiny, the colour was noticeable instantly when I was drying it was more vibrant and less dole. Only thing I can say that I didn't like was how runny it was.

It definitely toned down the orange brassy color. There is still some orange in there but at least the bright brassy orange is gone. I only used it once. I’m going to use it again later this week to see if it tones down some more. The product seems to work but I’m not happy with my overall color.

I used this on dry hair and left on for about a half hour as others have suggested. It definitely cut the red down and did not seem to dry my hair out like most. I will try it in the shower next time to see if it works as well on wet hair. Only downside is I needed to use a lot to saturate my hair

My only reason for not adding a fifth star was because of the generic color. My hair is copper-blonde. This is the one that was ''recommended for" me, and I do use it when I go too long to color and my hair can begin to fade as it does give it a bit of depth.. I helps when roots come in as my hair color is light and it blends it in. The red one would most likely be too red, and it's because the color match is not spot-on. I could buy the red and mix them, but I have just decided to color a bit more often instead. E Salon color and products and people are amazing and I would stay with them as long as they are there.

...on my hair color, but definitely gave a richer color to the previously-colored-grey-roots-growth that dull between coloring. I followed the directions the first use and results were minimal. So the second time I applied to dry hair and let sit several minutes, then wet and lathered in shower and let sit. It’s a bit drying but nothing conditioner can’t fix. I’m looking forward to trying the “light brunette” that I purchased at the same time.

At first I was unhappy with this product. I could not see any tint in my hair. One thing I realized is you MUST allow it to sit the required time in your hair. Once I ‘followed the directions’ to the letter, the results were evident. Great product for in between.

This product was delivered with my first e-salon order, I didn’t know what it was and that I needed it so badly. I am a natural auburn red head but unfortunately my colour has got darker as I have got older and I am now almost mahogany brunette. I applied this tint rinse, after completing my full colour application, in between the shampoo and conditioner. When I first applied it I was a bit apprehensive as it turned my hands orange. I left it for the prescribed 2-3 minutes before rinsing off. I could tell, even before drying my hair, how rich the colour was going to be. This tint rinse has left my hair with an absolutely gorgeous copper shine which enhances the original colour. I will be using this moving forward a couple of times a week and will definitely be buying it again. I have been looking for a colour boost for years and this product definitely fulfils my needs. I have just started using this in those few weeks between colouring my hair when my colour has started fading and my hair is starting to look a bit dull. This works a treat just to give my colour a little refresh. It is a great little in between treatment!
Especially if you go red the color will fade but with this product it is as simple as washing your hair, waiting a few min and rinse and you are right back to brilliant copper.

This product definitely enhances my auburn colour, giving it a rich sheen. I think it might be better diluted a bit with either water or shampoo, however, for the effect to be more subtle. But I'll appreciate the effect when my colour begins to fade between hair-dye sessions.

This was very strange the first time I used it. It squeezed out like it was liquid (water like) but when I went to put it in my hair I noticed it was thicker like shampoo. I thought it would just wipe on my hair but this foams up similar to shampoo. The tint rinse left a nice deposit of red on my hair. I would buy this again.

Gives my colour a shine between recolouring
Only downside is it’s a bit runny and does get a bit messy
I waited until I received my color to get my hair cut but I started to run out of time. Went to my daughter's house to get hair colored and we realized that the two color process would take longer than expected and I would be late for hair cut/style appointment so we didn't do second color. The color is beautiful but would have loved to see both colors.
While you don't have my colour in the temporary touch up product, I can use this tint rinse to fade the growth of grey roots to blend in and extend the time until I need to do another dye job. It also boosts and brightens the colour for that extended time. Terrific! Edit: Unfortunately, I've developed and allergy and must discontinue.
Used right after coloring hair so not sure how much it helped with tint rinse or not. Did add some shine to hair. Feel neutral about. Worth trying as your hair might show better results.
Like this product, does what it says, but be careful of splashes as it is a colouring agent and has to be washed off shower curtains and tiles fairly quickly or cleaning takes time.
Takes out the red So if you are a redhead this is not for you. This is for those of us that want a pure black or blonde or even brown hair color with no Reds.
I tried this to help tone my gray roots and it didn't work. I was disappointed. But then my last color was more orange than I expected. This was great at toning the color. I will buy it again.
Again not a bad product but I have had better luck with better product in terms of immediate boost and color refresh past one wash.But not damaging smells pretty good.
