I purchased this on the recommendation of my colorist. I was disappointed in how dark my hair was after selecting golden brown. The tint is easy to use and makes my hair shiny and with golden highlights. If I do not use it my hair returns to very dark brown. I will continue using it until my entire hair color is golden brown.
At first i try the red soft neutralizer and didn't work for me. I was curious to try this one and guys it work beautifly It's not like a vavavom at the first application like Elle bang vidéo but It's been 3 Times and i can see the différence. I can see that it give my hair a brown tint and no brassiness and orange hair anymore the more i use the more i see It's become a beautiful Brown. If you have light brown/dark/or whatever brown with brassiness i hightly recommend this one compare to the Soft neutralizer this one work 👌👌
Can you reformulate my hair color to look like this rinse color. The riinse is great but I want my permanent color to look like the rinse color. Does that make sense?
My color was a little too much...until the natural fade that comes its time. This tint made it perfect. Now I use it to keep my hair color look exactly the way I hoped.
I love when products do what they claim, as is the case with the tint rinse. It did enhance my color and gave it more shine. It also has much more than just one use and is enough for 2-3 months depending on how often you use. My only wish is that it have a bit more gray coverage, but could be I just need to leave it in a bit longer as well.
seems to make the color last a tad longer, just not so great w the tangles it leaves, even w conditioning afterwards. But does work for longer lasting color
I am in love with this product, I’ve been getting so many compliments on my hair color. The only draw back is that the tint will stain your hands, so wear gloves.
I used this once and it made a huge difference. Just wish it was a conditioning mask AND color refresher instead of a separate step between shampoo and conditioner. But I liked the results!
I originally bought this hoping the tint would help keep the grey away or at least tone it down. I don't feel it help in the area but seemed to keep the color bright and refreshed otherwise
I’m a natural ginger w/different shades in my hair: copper, strawberry,& white. This brightens my natural & doesn’t turn my white pink. I use this once a week. Only reason for the 4* is that’s it’s a little drying on my hair.
I have medium to dark brown hair (yes, blonde tint rinse takes brass out of brown hair, trust me, as I trusted my colorist, and they were right!). Anyway, I had a bad reaction to the hair color (long story, but fault of my own) and my color turned out really brassy. I used this product twice in the same week and it took the brass way down. I used it one more time the next week and it took the brass out. So, the by the third week, when I recolored my hair with my esalon color order, it turned out beautifully. The tint rinse is safe to use 2 to 3 times per week. I was just using a little caution for my first experience with it. I highly recommend tint rinse if one's hair develops unwanted brass.

I think this really helps to tone down some of the brassy tones in my hair. Still have some highlights, which I like, but would like a little less red tones.
I felt a little uneasy ordering the rinse. I didn't want it to be a dark color. But, it turned out to be a little toned down and shiny. Also, it seemed to make the white even brighter. Which I liked.
This product foams up on the hair. It’s a little weird feeling to use. It does balance the color and refreshes my old color, as I only color the roots of my long hair. Use a really good conditioner afterward.
It helped with blending the grow out some but my hair still pulled red from this rinse. It made my hair seem more rough after each use, didn't seem to help much with shine that I noticed. Definitely read and followed the directions on the bottle. Just not for my hair. Also may need to be more personalized.
I use the tint rinse once a week and my color never starts to look dull or old. You can't tell just died hair from my hair died 7 weeks ago except the roots are gone. I really believe the tine rinse is responsible for that- before I used it my color would turn very brassy by the end of 6 or 7 weeks and I do not like that effect. The idea for me is that it should not look like my hair is died and the tint rinse keeps my hair color true.

Although I got it to give a bit of a different color to my dye it didn’t do anything as my dye is too dark as it is. But what I did notice is that as my gray hair grew in, this product covered my gray giving me more time between dye jobs. Love that.
Since reds fade quickly, this is a handy product to have. However, it has a tendency to build up on the ends and make the red look a bit like a clown wig...use carefully.

A good product but I wish it wasnt so watery. It's hard to get the colour all over because the second you put it on your hair it takes ONLY to that part of the hair even if you lather it. so it's very hard to get even all over coverage.
Since I could not get it evenly on my own hair I used it to colour extensions after I had my hair cut off after esalon dye ruined my hair. It works best if you can mix it with some water in a bowl and dip in the hair extensions to get even coverage.
I feel it's expensive as you don't really get a lot of product. Wish it was thicker and that you needed less of it, and that they'd make it easier to get even coverage. I'd also like to see a more yellow based copper colour.
Does exactly what it says but leaves hair a little dry

The purple tint rinse is great for removing brassiness from blonde hair however I found it very drying though and needed a fair amount of conditioner afterwards.
I feel like this product gave my hair that extra shine, but as far as nuetralizing red tones I don't think it did that. It has been a couple of years now since I purchased this and I still have the same bottle. I didn't get much use out of it.
My color came out super red. I'd tried my purple shampoo, then got some blue shampoo & conditioner. They helped a smidge but I was still red. I told my stylist and she sent 2 bottles of this stuff (so nice, right?). I left it on for 30 minutes bc I didn't want another small improvement. It did get the red out. My hair is now more of a warm brown. Which is fine. I'm aiming for basically cool (like, no soul)...no warmth. If it dialed back the warmth I would have given it 5 stars. I'll keep using it along with my blue shampoos. Thanks ESalon!!
I didn't like the fragrance and it did irritate my eyes a bit but after rinsing it out my eyes I was good. The color is really more orange than copper but like I said for a temporary fix it did what I needed.
I have only used it once, as I wash my hair in the kitchen sink, and it made such a mess! Went every where! Will try again soon and let you know again!
I was impressed by its ability to mask the grays. Great coppery color. Only complaint is that you can only use twice a week. It would be nice to be able to use at least 3 times a week.
So far I really like this product however This being the first time I ordered it I was disappointed to receive the tube with a hole in the end of the tube. This causes the product to leak all over my shower even when I place the tube top side down with the leak facing up. If the tube falls over (as it has done several times so far) I lose product.
I did like this product but it didn’t work as good as I’d hoped. I have a slightly darker red hair color and I chose the copper. It worked good on the grays and provided a nice shine. The copper came through a little bit but I think I might try the red to see if it works better for my color. I do not color my hair, I just want something to bring out my natural color, as redheads fade over time!

It came out like purple ink and very watery. I expected it to be thicker. The effect works well, but I loose a lot because it is so watery. A mouse tint rinse would be a better idea or something thicker at least and the purple is kinda weird. Maybe like a blonde or light pink would be a better color choice.
Great product keeps colour bright and vibrant between recolouring. Wear gloves when using it though as it does stain your hands even in shower, You have to really scrub them after using it and even after scrubbing, hands and nails will have a slight orange tinge to them for a day or so, worth it though for how good the product is.
Overall when you use it a couple times a week I see less red tones in my hair so I believe it works. But the smell is awful! Makes me not want to use it because everyone 3 feet away from me can smell it. Other than that it’s purpose is great and works!
I love my dark brown hair until the color starts to fade and those annoying brassy highlights surface. The tint rinse solves that problem, extending the length of time until my next color application. Easy to use, consistent results.
Updating my review. If I leave this on my hair for MUCH longer than instructed it does a decent job. I follow it up with the ESalon toning mask and while they do cancel the harsh red tones my hair tends to get, it doesn’t give me the cool ashy brown I want. So I follow up even that up an expensive cool brown color mask from Sephora and it works perfectly. None of them do the trick on their own for me, but my hair pulls SUPER RED tones that are STUBBORN.
Then on days between doing all the masks I’ll use this in the shower just to help maintain. While it’s a small inconvenience to pick a day to sit around and apply color correcting masks, I much prefer it to constantly having to to the salon to touch up color because of how fast my hair tends to fade. So on it’s own, I’d probably give this product 3 stars, but as part of my little routine it’s an essential.

This rinse is great. It really helps to hold the color. Only downfall is that it will stain anything it's touched for too long. So make sure to rinse everything right after so that no color remains anywhere.
